It is extremely important for students especially those studying business to do a course related to liberal arts. Liberal art studies are not just important to make a career in business but they also help the people become professionals and to mould their lives into an appropriate form that shows them the path to success. Liberal art studies are all about languages, cultures and literature. Moreover, it also consists of various philosophies and sciences that deals with the general cultural concern and provides information related to it. These studies are taught to the students to know their environment closely. The world is changing at a very fast pace today due to the improvements in the technology that are effecting each and every person and business existing in the world today. New technologies are being introduced by innovators every now and then and the old ones are being replaced with something more innovative than the previous one. Nokia for instance, is a company that manufactures and sells mobile phones to the countries worldwide and Nokia is coming up with new cell phones by changing designs and specifications in order to encourage the people to buy their product. Moreover, competition is an important consideration that the organizations must make in order to stay intact in the market place(Kelly  Littman).

Continuing with the example of the importance of liberal studies for a career in business, I would say that liberal art studies play a major role in the success of the individuals. Studying liberal arts makes an individual think in a critical way and to come up with arguments and ideas in a way that is not just logical but comprehensive as well. The most important part of this is that the ideas that are proposed by the individuals fulfill multiple points of views of different people. Liberal studies helps in boosting the creative thinking abilities of a person and makes him more conscious about social responsibility. In the business arena, social responsibility plays an important role for the businesses to progress and this is a part of what liberal studies teach the business students. However, the concept of social responsibility comes after the other things are being told to the students. Even an individual plays a vital role in the progress and the development of the society and so everyone must be socially responsible to the community to help it develop(Pink 21).

Business persons need to be creative in order to reap the most from what they sell to the customers and for this they need to be creative. Liberal art studies also help the individuals develop their creativity and it boosts their personal growth and makes them wiser that helps them in being able to adjust with the changes taking place around them. Solving problems needs creativity as this helps them come up with new ideas and ways that can bring a change in the society. Not just the liberal arts course makes an individual more problem solving but it also encourages and motivates them to learn new things. Learning promulgates further learning and the new perceptions that are developed make a person more creative. Liberal art studies gives way to self growth that further develops potential within an individual to achieve his future endeavors in life. Growth and wisdom comes mainly from the experiences an individual has in its life, however this is amplified by the critical thinking skills and creativity an individual possess. It makes them more curious about knowing more about various disciplines and cultures and also motivates them to continue their learning experience in future as well(Wilner).

Here, it is also proved why liberal art studies help in making a career in business and these also help in creating value to the business as developing all these skills in oneself is essential for a business to progress and this is why the liberal studies are important. In order to disseminate particular set of values, a religion highlights all the positive things about it so that other people belonging to different religions are impressed and they praise the followers.

I would thus conclude by saying that creativity is essential for success especially beacuse it enables a person to drag oneself out of a problem solving situation. Today, there has been a very rapid growth of technology and various philosophies have been introduced that further help the people make their career in business. Last but not least, it is essential for every businessperson to be ethical at all times and also to ensure that the business is taking care of corporate social responsibility just like Johnson  Johnson did when they were facing the Tylenol crisis.
