The circulation and traffics of people inside shops and supermarkets

Introduction
While starting or setting up large shops and supermarkets where there is much circulation and traffic of customers its really very much important to take of what type of design you are going to establish for your market as it will be the base or pillars of the shop or market.

the biggest mistake that poorly branded retailers make is they don t tell a consistent, cohesive, clear, compelling, meaningful story  (Bruce Brigham, president American society of interior designers).

Graphical examples of such positive engineering
The following logical concepts of interior designing are really very much helpful in order to accompany the huge circulation and traffics of customerspeople in shops or super markets.

Improving effectiveness of circulation in the shops

Avoid developing clutter in the shop.
For example if you have a huge range of products and sub categories of those products that does not mean you have to display them all you must always put only those products who have some prerequisite products or that are interdependent. It helps a lot to avoid that the customer could be overwhelmed with the huge range of products inside.

Try to leave large or at least enough space between the racks you set in your store.
For example If you try to grab or utilize each and every extra space of the shop area it will create disturbance for the customers to circulate properly in the shop and lack of space would result the traffic to flow easily and it will even leave a bad impression on the customer that convenience is not provided at your shop.

Carefully emphasize on the lighting and colours used in the shop.
For example  We must emphasize upon the interior designing of not only the walls but also the racks, lighting used which means specific lights must me properly focused on the racks that illuminates the products you have.

Proper organization of the racks
For example The racks must be set in a very organized manner accordingly to the product categories and some small guiding signboards could also be used if we have a large shop in order that they indicate customers that which product is located where in the organized categories respectively.

Use average sizes of shop fixtures
For example  If the fixtures used in the shops are too much tall then they will create   trouble for the customers to look around or look across the fixtures or racks for other desired or relevant products.

Cleanliness
For example the flooring must be of some great stuff like wooden or of marbles so that it would be very easy for the maintainers to maintain the floor efficiently and it will attract the customers a lot. We always have to provide a mirror image of  our shop in the shoppers mind because it is the only thing that remains for longer period of time in the mind of customer and it is a very effective tactic to increase the circulation in the shop too because if there is nothing dirty on the floor that means there is as much as possible space for the circulation.
