Bias of System

It is normal that we are never equal. This means that there are some people who happen to be stronger than the others. It also becomes obvious that these people who are more powerful will be the ones who will rule over the less powerful or the powerless. A bias of the system is a terminology that is used to refer to the some specific factors that are known to dominate an area. These are factors which happen to be the key determinants of the way activities are done or the system of governance of an area. Some of the key factors that are associated with the bias of the system are wealth which results to capitalism and education. These two factors are known to have a great impact on the system of governance of practically all the nations of the world.

Capitalism for many years has been seen as the main method that developing and industrial societies are said to use so that they can organize and develop their economy. Most of the developed and the economically advanced nations are said to adopt this method of governance. In fact, most of them owe their success to this system.

However, in the United States, this system or rather capitalism can be said to support the bias of the system method of governance. The reason is that there exists a lot of very powerful personnels in the United States. These are the people who are known to control the way things will be done there. They are the people who own the largest companies in the United States some of which monopolize their field of trade. Their grants are one of the main source of funds for the United States and therefore they must be somehow involved in the decision making process.

The structure of power in the United States is said to comprise of three parts. The very first one happens to be the countrys economy. This is where these monopolies are. It is said to include the board of directors of those large transnational corporations which are said to dictate the policies that will be implemented in the capitalistic world. Then there is the second part which is the political part. This one includes all the political apparatus in the whole of the United States. It consists of the president and all his close advisers. The third part is the United States military. All these are interlocking directories and they happen to decide which policies should be implemented and which one will not be implemented.

The existence of these structures especially the large monopolies result to a capitalistic society.  Some of these people who rule the large community make decision which will favor them. This can be termed as socialism. Even though socialism is considered to exist only when there is democracy such that the few powerful people will be answerable to the majority, it usually do not exist and this is the reason as to why there is bias of system in this form of government.

In conclusion, the existence of the capitalistic society which is very evident in the United States results from the existence of privately owned large transnational corporations. It is obvious that they will result to socialism and monopolize the trade. These monopolies will always exploit the poor and oppress them. It becomes very difficult to fight them as the segment that is supposed to fight them is less powerful and must depend on these large corporations. For them to assist, it must be conditional as they must be gaining something. The government has no option but to accept the conditions as it is in need of the help. These are some of the ways in which capitalism which is very evident in the United States can be said to support the bias of the system.
