What if We Legalized all Drugs

The term drug in itself is a frightening word to many who knows what the substance does to human body. It is hard to believe what it becomes with an additional phrase of legalization.  The person who even came up with this whole idea of legalizing drugs must have been out of mind or under the influence of the same.  Figure out a picture of an open air market for drugs.  Or a mall with a number of stalls selling drugs.  What would happen to our small innocent children who would be forced to try these hard matters in the so called marketing strategies by the drugs marketers
I will not be the first one to oppose the legalization of drugs as it has always been opposed by a large number of people both in America and around the world.  Leaders, politicians, doctors, and people from different competence do not agree with the legalization too.  All these people have very good reasons and the main one is to protect the society.  Use of drugs affects brain which results in detrimental shock on the body. There is also a crash on behaviour and a likelihood of abuse.  It is so unfortunate that drug use risks the physical condition and well being of both the user and the non user.

Proposers argue that drug legalization would boost US economy.  The sane argument is that the adverse effects beat the advantages.  According to Wilson James, the number of drug users will automatically add up since there will be no more fear in any drug use.  This will mean more tax pay for creation of rehabilitation centres for drug addicts.  The health issue will come up again due to the diseases resulting in use of these drugs like cancers and others.  Will this not result to additional cost in government budget  But again what happens to addicts who want to buy these drugs and have no penny of their own to spend on the same  They will have to look for ways and means to get the money to buy the drugs.  These ways will of course include stealing, mugging, carjacking and killing. Though some authors argue that there will be a decrease in crime, in real sense there will be more crime related to using these drugs.  These crimes will most probably be caused by addicts who are no longer able to keep their jobs.  Many offices will certainly run at a loss.  This is because the abusers and addicts with no control will increase the absenteeism and worksite crimes.  Since drug use affects brain functioning, it will therefore not be a big deal for lets say site foreman with control of drugs, stealing the site equipment and selling for drug purchases.  The absenteeism in any office affects the development and stability of an organisation at large.  Too much absenteeism leads to loss of jobs and hence replacement.  A drug addict with no money and no prospects will have no better option to look for money to buy the drugs but stealing.  The quality and quantity of work produced by drug users is also pathetic.  For example use of machine is even prohibited by the drug manufacturers themselves.  How many deaths will be caused in workshops, or loss of body parts or features  Not forgetting the loss of lives on the roads. (Wilson James)

When God created man, he wanted him to live happily together with a wife and if blessed with children, enjoy living with his family.  Drug legalization will not spare marriages.  If at present the alcohol is tearing marriage apart, then drugs will totally kill the holy union which is created in heaven.  The innocent creatures in their mothers womb will not be spared either.  Either there will be more child death rates, miscarriage or a number of children born with body disorders.

Legalization of drug will not lead to decrease in use as the author may want to put it.  We may need to ask ourselves some questions based on the past experiences.  For example abortion is now legitimate.  People and medics fought for it legalization for their funny thought of decrease if legalized but the question remains, did abortion decrease or is our society now rotten with the innocent blood killed  What of alcohol Its the same thing.  It was legalized to reduce its use but instead even school children are misusing the opportunity.  Whoever therefore thinks that drug will be a different case should go back to books and study hard.  The battle is far from over and people of good wish should not give up but continue fighting for if possible total ban on drugs.

We need to take care of our generation as much as we want to go along with lifestyle and technology.  We need to take good care of our bodies too since health is always a priority and divine portion.  It therefore generally looks ridiculous decriminalizing anything which could alternatively wipe us out.
