The main principles behind building green

As an approach use to building houses that are different from regular building, green building needs to have and establish its principles. I was able to browse on some articles and read editorials about it. Green building guides every step of the plan and construction. Others say that green building is alternatively described as a sustainable structure well ultimately this may be the most accurate way of looking at the principle. While I was searching for the answer to this question, I was able to find The four principles of green building, The five principles and The eight principles of the green building. Let me mention the principles I was able to find energy efficiency, resource efficiency, durability, water efficiency, indoor environmental quality, community impact, homeowner education and maintenance and finally sustainable site development. And so I was in dither. I read these principles and to my surprise they are all heading in the same direction via slightly different routes. The demand is rising both for the trade or business and clients for the real principle or standard that everyone should follow. I was able to watch a clip courtesy of youtube. It is a clip of a recorded voice of James ODonnell. He was able to furnish a very simple explanation of the principles of green building. He talked about conservation. We have to use what we need and use it efficiently. Efficiency and conservation here goes hand in hand as he explained. Now in order to conserve, we have to recycle. The green building recycles wastes, build materials and build materials that can be recycled. The principle also suggests for us to use renewable resources. He said that if we plan to build a sustainable society, it is more likely that we should rely on these renewable resources. James O Donnell explained that if we follow the principle of the green building, we are minimizing the impact of the house that we are planning to construct. He mentioned that we cannot build a zero impact home but we can minimize it.

The impact of global warming and its effects
Global warming as it is defined is the increase in the normal temperature of the earth. Global warming had been an issue in the society for over the last hundred years. Who wouldnt worry about this issue when we all know for a fact that as the earth gets hotter, incident of disasters like hurricanes, floods and droughts are getting more frequent. Global warming would impact our planet (earth) in many ways. Again as I have mentioned earlier, it is causing natural disasters to be frequent. Although studies are not directly saying that they can determine what exactly are the effects or impacts of global warming on earth, there are possible predictions. Here are some of the predictions as a result of global warming Since the temperature of earth is warmer, there is a big possibility for the glaciers and polar ice caps to melt faster resulting to an increase in sea levels. With that, we have to be ready for a warmer global temperature there will be decreased rainfalls and other types of precipitation in some areas and a drastic loss of forest areas. Not to mention that we are not the only living thing on earth. Global warming would most likely affect all living things including animal and plant population. So what they would do is that they will transfer locations in order for them to live. We cannot predict what they will do or what they can do to survive. We cannot pin- point the exact time for all of these predictions to happen however as far as I know (and I know you would agree), it is already starting. The floods, soil erosions, tornadoes, hurricanes and all other natural disasters happening globally these past few years and the other disasters that are yet to come can be good examples. The earth temperature is getting warmer each day and this is what we call global warming. As scientists say, it is caused by the greenhouse effect. It is when the earths atmosphere traps solar radiation caused by the presence of gases such as carbon dioxide, water vapour and methane that allows the heat of the sunlight to pass through however absorbing the heat radiation back to the surface of the earth.

Rural Area VS Urban Area
Let me explain first what the difference between urban area and rural area is. As it is defined, urban area is
characterized by higher population density and vast human features in comparison to areas surrounding it.

While a rural area is defined on the other hand as
large and isolated areas of an open  HYPERLINK httpen.wikipedia.orgwikiCountry o Country country (in reference to open fields and not forests, etc.) often with low  HYPERLINK httpen.wikipedia.orgwikiPopulation o Population population density.

With the above definition we can therefore say that with the effects of the global warming, it would be much better for all of us to live in a rural area. Well at least in rural area, the population density is low, it is not over crowded and since it is not developed yet, there are still a lot of trees that could help in maintaining a good environment. That exactly is the same reason why it is a good thing for over half of the worlds people living in urban areas as opposed to rural areas. It is much better because we can at least make sure that pollution, contamination and green house gasses are moderated or lessen at these areas. Thus allowing us to maintain or sustain the balance of nature. Millennium Development Goals (MDG) that can be addressed in urban settings could be a drive for global partnership. We can all work together, hand in hand if not to stop global warming at least to lessen its negative impact to all of us. After knowing and understanding the effects of global warming it became clear to me that all of us, whether you are from rural or urban community all of us are contributing to the problem. I read an article before and I want to share it with you

A teacher I know recently asked a student what we could do to fight global warming. His response was it should be illegal for anyone on Earth to pollute. Children are much wiser then we sometimes give them credit for. As that is the correct answer, however humans are habitual in their nature. Giving up their automobiles, buses, trains, planes, gas lawnmowers, etc... is not an easy thing to ask them to do. We have created the causes of global warming its up to us to find the solutions.

Aside from the global partnership drive to stop global warming, I would also suggest a universal knowledge. Instead of spreading news about show business and other unimportant entity, why not we spread ways on how to conserve water, electricity, food and nature Good point, huh  I mean let us all help each other be aware of what is going on. How could we answer a problem if we are not even aware of it Make everyone aware of what is happening create posters, fliers or adds that would catch their attention and make them realize that it is important for them to play their part to combat global warming.
