President Obamas First State of the Union

The first black American president had spoken Though in the midst of the financial crisis and economic devastations of the U.S. economy, Obama did such a great job outlining his intentions and putting specific timelines into his plan of actions, a fresh approach to problem solving last January 27, 2010, when he delivered the State of the Union Address in front of Congress and a national television audience.  Upon watching Obamas speech, all eyes in the Congress were around Obama, thrilled and excited to hear the first Americas black presidents words. The President was positive and forward thinking that America will arise from the present crisis, despite the political roadblocks from the Republicans.

His issues addressed were that the current period of time reflects back to the market crash, the origins of the nation, and other difficulties that tested the convictions of American people. Obama stressed out that America is just tested at this moment of time but after he took office, the worst of the crisis is over, but there is still devastation. In the article State of the Union Address Change Has Not Comes Fast Enough written by Jennifer Loven, he also mentioned that for many people, change has not come fast enough. He stressed that all Americans share the nations difficulties, and should work together to fix them and that he had been more hopeful about the future of America as he was at the moment.  America was so far in debt, why should they not suggest going back to the global community whom they have bailed out time and again ask them to return the favor and cancel the current debt of America.

We all know that this crisis will take until 2018 to resolve, it is just overwhelming and to think if we hold our breath and Obama throws his magic words against the wall that one will stick and make it all better for the American people in the next months or years. A lofty set of goals that I hope will better the nation. Guess that as long as anyone can hold on, nothing is impossible.
