Europe and Asia are two neighboring continents in this world. Despite of its short distance between each other, their culture and lifestyle varies greatly from east to west. Asia is known for its traditional and conservative culture while Europe has modern way of living and thinking. These differences also affect the child and adolescent development in both places. It is obvious from looking on the standard of living of Asia and Europe.

One of the issue involved in child development is health. How can a child learn and gain knowledge if he is suffering from an illness It is very important that one must have a healthy mind and body. Asia and Europe still have great comparison with this issue. For Asian countries lack financial assistance to the poor so that they can have free medication, and the European countries prioritized this matter. Education is also a big issue when talking about this two continents. Asian countries follow traditional learning system while in Europe, technology makes learning faster and more convenient. But these modern technologies had adverse effects on the childs mind, especially on teenagers. They are corrupted by several social issues like pornography, which interfere with the development process of the child. It means that too much advances in the society doesnt always have positive results. The differences between Asia and Europe can be seen on the children on both continents, they are the reflection of what kind of society they are living in.

At the end of the day, it doesnt matter where continent you live. The real essence of child and adolescent development is by starting it at your own home. The parents of the children should serve as their first teacher, for soon they will become a responsible and hardworking individuals.
